Brief About the Website
The goal of this website and accompanied resource is to assist the general public, students, practitioners, policymakers have an understanding of how data are collected, analyzed and disseminated to improve global health. A website has been created to complement the book and provide useful links to additional information and sites. We hope that by bringing these themes together, we will stimulate others to continue to frame and enhance global health data and methods.
The Palgrave Handbook of Global Health Data Methods for Policy and Practice is available in 136 libraries and is pulling 7.5k chapter downloads. Since the book is highly relevant to data issues around COVID-19, Springer Nature (Palgrave’s parent company) is yet to make the entire book freely accessible for us on their SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 resources page. At the moment, only the disease surveillance chapter is readily available.
