Brittany Iskarpatyoti and Tariq Azim just returned from Liverpool, England, where they joined a global conversation at HSR2018 about advancing health for all in the era of Sustainable Development Goals. Brittany was inspired by her colleagues from around the world—and a certain group of Liverpool natives.

Come Together: Greetings from Liverpool and HSR2018. Gathering in The Beatles’ hometown to discuss “health for all” and how to get there. Giant puppets and masses of marionettes are a relevant image.

Revolution: eHealth/mHealth Solutions for Improved Data. We all want to see the plan on how health data systems can work together—from the national level to communities.

Imagine: Ensuring No System Is Left Behind. First things first—we can strengthen health systems only if a system exists, says one HSR participant.

The Long and Winding Road: Partnerships, Self-Reliance, and the Path Forward. The trick is in the title of the first blog—come together. Collaborations of public and private, multiple health sectors, and learning from other disciplines are the way to move forward.
